The Waiting Game

This is my first post! I must say, I'm a little nervous about it. My mother-in-law started a blog last year, and after becoming addicted to reading hers every morning, and then finding friends of hers to follow as well, I figured I would try the world of blogging. So, here goes!

Today I am 39 weeks pregnant! Wow, I never
thought it would be so hard to wait for something! I've been praying every night for the past 2 weeks that I would go into labor...so, to keep up with tradition, I'll pray again tonight--a Valentine baby would be so neat!

Tonight my husband and I celebrated our last Valentine's Day as a "normal" couple (did that sound bad?) He bought me the sweetest framed art!! Here it is. What a s
weety of a man I have = )

Here is a close up of the wording at the bottom
of the picture:

It says, "Children are a gift from the Lord" So true! We'll find out soon enough (hopefully tomorrow!) how precious children really are...

  1. Hi Kari!

Thanks so much for following my blog! Congratulations on your up and coming arrival! Do you know if it's a boy or a girl, or are you waiting to find out?

Looks like we have something in common...my mother-in-law started a blog a couple years back and the reason I started one was the same as yours...kept reading hers and enjoying others as well!

Welcome to the blogging world! I'm looking forward to reading more of your blog!

  4. Welcome to the blogland. I'm a follower of your M.I.L.'s blog and I'm on pins and needles waiting for her to let us know when you have that precious baby. Now I can check yours out too. I hope you have a fast and relatively painless (oh well, we can wish) delivery. Best of luck to you and your hubby.
