Worship & Praise Sunday

Every Sunday, Brittany at Sweet Nothings hosts Worship and Praise Sunday. She has such a great site, you should check it out!

Today, my song choice is Mighty to Save by Hillsong.
*You can pause my music playlist on the right so that two songs aren't playing at once*

I LOVE this song. We sing it often at church and I get so excited everytime we do. I can't help but sing as loud as possible (bad notes and all) because God is so good--He's truly MIGHTY to save!!

My favorite line in this song, though, is when it says, "He rose and conquered the grave, Jesus conquered the grave" HOW AMAZING!? I have two precious grandpas and a friend from high school up there with the Lord--they are there because HE has conquered death, hell and the grave...and one day, I'll see them again because Christ, Who is MIGHTY to save, gave me eternal life through His precious blood and resurrection power. Thank You Jesus!!

  1. I love this song too!
I want you to know I'm thinking of you and praying for you as you wait for your sweet little one to enter the world.

  2. I also wanted to tell you that I love the picture of the Bible in your header with the heart made from the pages.
I may just have to borrow that idea for a picture I'm wanting to do with my old falling apart Bible.
    That is so sweet.
    You bless me Kari!

  3. Yay! We have the same GREAT taste! ha ha.

    Love this song. :)

  4. I love this song too! We (the worship team) just introduced it to our church. It's such a powerful song! He is mighty to save!

Hope you're comfortable these last few days! Can't wait to see pictures of Ethan's arrival! Have a blessed week! I'm sure you're extremely excited!

  5. Mighty To Save is an awesome song! We sing it often at my church.
