Well, This Is It!

Tonight I'm being induced at 7:00! (I'm still holding out for Ethan to come on his own, though..but he's only got a few hours if he's going to do so!)

I got up this morning, ironed my hubby's shirt, packed his lunch and sent him off to work. I showered, actually took the time to put on makeup (I figure I won't be doing much of that in the next few days..or even weeks..who knows!), straightened my hair, and had my quiet time with the Lord--Oh, how I needed that!

Next on the agenda is to go get some breakfast at a bakery/coffee shop that I really like, and then hit up a few shops around town. I guess you could say that this is my last time as just a "wife" to be able to drop everything and go do something before I become a "mommy". I'm excited about it!

...But what will be even more exciting is finally holding our SON!
Last night, I went into the nursery and just stared at everything. I went through a few of the drawers, and looked through his closet trying to soak everything in. It's all quite surreal--I still feel like I should be in high school! I've dreamed of this day ever since I was a little girl, though. I've always wanted to be a wife and a mommy.

This is one of the verses I read this morning and I really liked it!
"But may all who search for you be filled with joy and gladness in you. May those who love your salvation repeatedly shout, "The LORD is great!" Psalm 40:16

LORD, you are great!
Thank You for the awesome privilege of being a wife and mommy!

**Hope to share pics with all of you as soon as possible! You might be able to see some at my mother-in-law Carol's site first, though!**

  6. It's 9:30 p.m. and I'm just now catching up on reading my favorite blogs.
Even though you may not read this until after Ethan is born, I am praying for you right now.
I'm so excited to hear all about it and see pictures.
You're going to make a wonderful mother.
God bless & take care of both of you.

  7. Thinking about you today! You're most likely at the hospital now! Praying it all goes well!

  8. I just got a sneak peek of Ethan over at his Nana's blog. How precious!
